New shopping centre opened at Condado de Alhama
Al Kasar Shopping Centre at Condado de Alhama
During August Polaris World opened the brand new Al Kasar Shopping Centre in Condado de Alhama, a stunning building of Hispano-Arabic architecture which has been designed to delight the senses and offer a comprehensive range of services to residents. Al Kasar has a supermarket, an Irish Pub, two restaurants (Italian cuisine and Paella Rice) and a charming club house for the Signature golf course, which will be opened shortly by Jack Nicklaus himself.
Hacienda Riquelme resort centre work started
Polaris World have also announced that work on the town centre in Hacienda Riquelme has started. The unfortunate delay was caused by administrative reasons in the Town Hall regarding the Hacienda’s historic listed building status, but the building license is now in place and the centre should be completely finished within 18 months. I am sure that owners of properties in this wonderful resort will be extremely pleased to hear this piece of news and will be reassured about the general status of things.
Tennis Davis Cup to be hosted at La Torre
On another positive front, Polaris World has recently secured the hosting of the Davis Cup Semifinals between Spain and Israel on 18-20th of September and the tennis matches will be held at La Torre Golf Resort. Polaris World are currently busy working with the Spanish Tennis Federation and the local Government to ensure this event is a real success for the region of Murcia. A brand new clay court with 12,000 seats is being built next to the 5 star Intercontinental Hotel. According to a spokesman from the Spanish Tennis Federation, Rafael Nadal is 99% likely to be there during the semifinals, so a real treat and master lesson in tennis await those lucky to attend.
